As James turns 5

Five years ago, I was gazing down at the most beautiful thing I have ever been a part of. He had the cutest nose, bluest eyes, tiniest feet and toes, Oh and he smelt divine! Fast forward five years and I have this amazing little person who never ceases to amaze us, has a great sense of humour and wants to be an astronaut when he grows up. Happy Birthday to my Sweet Little Man. Love you James xxxxx

What is it Wednesday?

I began a photo 365 blog back in January of this year and had an idea of photographing a mystery object and seeing how many people could guess. I called it "What is it Wednesday" and posted the link on a few forums that I am a member of. With each week the numbers of people who have been checking in on a Wednesday to see the picture has been steadily growing, yesterday was by far the most with over 600 page views throughout the day.  Yesterday's picture was by far the hardest yet, and out of all the people to view it only one person got it correct. ......... want to know what the answer is? check down below.

Here is a list of the previous images used in the "What is it Wednesday".

a feather

moss on a wall

tv screen

slice of bread

my knuckle

tape measure

melon

bubble wrap

car cigarette lighter

corner of cup holder from mcdonalds

 tree bark

And this is the answer for the 6th April's What  is it Wednesday ----------- a cigarette

To college or not to college

This year I began a level 2 photography course in my local college, it has been one night a week since September and tonight I have to hand in my final piece for printing for the end of year show. I then have a week to complete my portfolio and that will be the end of it. Have to say I am going to miss it and the challenges that I got every week preparing work for it. I am seriously considering doing a HND in Photography come September, the only thing putting me of it is the amount of written work that goes with it. I would love all the photographic side of things and learning how to develop my own photos but having to write about the quality of 40 types of photographic paper just doesn't do it for me.

I have about 4 weeks to decide what to do before my entry papers need to be in and for the life of me I can't decide. Then I think I should go ahead and apply and maybe they'll not accept me or my portfolio of work.

Have you went onto further education as a mature student? Did you enjoy it? Did you find the work easy? Would you do it again?

Would love to hear from any one out there who has been down this road.

Happy St Patrick's Day

To all my friends and family here and abroad, Greetings from Ireland,

May God grant you always...
A sunbeam to warm you,
A moonbeam to charm you,
A sheltering angel, so nothing can harm you.
